Looking to blow it up and make my own team. Not a big fan of the roster as speaks so we are rebuilding! As it stands the people I want & plan on keeping during this process are (The most bias color commentator but we love him any way) Tommy Heinsohn, (either) Antonio Diaz Miguel or Marcus Lo Vett Jr., and (don't ask me why cause I don't know) Nikola Mirotic. also not planning on trading my first round picks Looking for young upcoming players, high draft picks, defense www.abavsnba.com/rosters/roster26.htm

This team isnt far away imo.. resigning alexander a good draft pick another sokid trade or two and this team contends I don't mean to hijack the thread, but this team has some funky contracts right? I mean, Terrence Ross has a bizarre contract to me. Same with CJ McCollum, Moe Harkless, and Cody Zeller. Honestly, I would hate to have those guys on those contracts. Bizarre moves by the previous GM no? Maybe other guys prefer that though.

I would agree with those contracts they definatly limit cap room for this team. its one reason a complete rebuild is tougher as its gonna be tough to move all these contracts even just for cap. perhapd packaging one or two wih one of the young pgs for good upgrades at the sg and pf tyoe positions helps. should be interesting what this team does

The last Pacers GM (not the guy who was here for like two weeks that just got fired) was the king of the stupid mid-level contracts. Having 1 of those is fine. But he routinely gave out these mid-level contracts to bench players. He never made the playoffs.
Welcome and good luck to the new guy.

Hey Pacers, do us a favor and don't do the above just to get rid of those contracts though. If you're making a solid upgrade that makes sense, but don't move your pieces just to get out of some stupid contracts. Your PGs are gonna be studs.
