Funny thing about Ric. I was in another league and Ric tried to join. He got banned, and when I asked why they listed off a ton of things he has done to cheat in sim leagues. One reason was he had been busted for GMing multiple teams under aliases. It wasn't just us being jerks, he really was a cheat.

Funny thing about Ric. I was in another league and Ric tried to join. He got banned, and when I asked why they listed off a ton of things he has done to cheat in sim leagues. One reason was he had been busted for GMing multiple teams under aliases. It wasn't just us being jerks, he really was a cheat. You have no idea dude. I had extensive conversations with "his cousin" on AIM....it was the stupidest charade that I've ever seen. I also remember him coaxing me into trades by giving these ultra-long stories about his personal life and how it somehow related to the sim league. One of the craziest ones was about how he had a Senegalese student. Ric told me a lot about him, and how he told the student that he had Pape Sow on his sim league team. Ric then traded me Sow, and apparently the student got sad right before he had to head back to Senegal. So Ric begged for me to trade him back Sow, so he could tell the Senegalese student before he he left for home. Just....bizarre. I don't even want to think about the huge spreadsheets that he developed so he could have the ultimate team, or the huge articles he wrote describing odd adventures that other GMs had....*shudder* |
