Go ahead and post why you give yourself that grade. This should be interesting.

I'm giving myself a B. I'm still pissed I screwed up my 2nd round pick. I would have taken Brian Taylor, but I missed it and didn't send a list. I think I was able to grab a couple solid picks in the 4th with Thurmond and Tomjanovic and that helped. Still, I could be much better.

I'm going with a B as well. I think I reached on Rich Kelley in the third. But other than that, I have a good perimeter set for the future with DJ/Bridgeman/Wilkes

I have moved up and taken 4 guys in the top three rounds without giving up a first and moved my 14th and 15th rounders for way better selections. A+

B, have a mix of youth and established players, looking to continue that trend. Not sure how good we are in relation the rest of the league, but I think we'll do pretty good, and as time goes we will be better when the younger gain more experience. Next couple of rounds should prove crucial on the outlook of the squad.

I think you hit the nail on the head Beantown. It's hard to gauge against other teams.

Cleveland Cavs Outlook: (after 6 Rounds of the Draft)
First we will look at the depth charts as they stand.
Centers: Kareem Abdul Jabbar (1st Round Pick) (A+ Inside, A+ DefReb, A+ Blocks) Career Avg: 24.6 PPG, 11.2 REB, 2.6 BLK
Power Forwards: Sam Lacey (5th Round Pick-VIA Nuggets) (B+ FT, A DefReb, B+ Steal) Career Avg: 10.3 PPG, 9.7 Reb, 1.3 Stl, 1.5 Blk
Small Forwards: Rick Barry (2nd Round Pick-VIA Bucks) (A Inside, A FT, B+ Steals) Career Avg: 24.8 PPG, 6.7 Reb, 4.98 Ast, 2.0 Stl
Truck Robinson (3 Round Pick-VIA Bucks) (A+ Inside, B+ OffReb, A DefReb) Career Avg: 15.5 PPG, 9.4 Reb
Shooting Guards: John Drew (2nd Round Pick) (A Inside, A OffReb, A- Steals) Career Avg: 20.7 PPG, 6.9 Reb, 1.4 Stl
Point Guards: John Williamson (3rd Round Pick (A+ Inside, B Jumpshot, A- FT) Career Avg: 17.5 PPG, 2.8 Ast
Ron Boone (4th Round Pick) (A Inside, A- FT, B Jumpshot) Career Avg: 16.8 PPG, 3.7 Ast
If today was the start of the pre-season there would be two position challenges as Boone/Williamson and Lacey/Robinson would fight for the starting jobs at PG/PF.
We need to make are two 7th Round Picks count and get more depth. Then we should be set for the season, the rest of the picks will be scrappin' for a bench seat.
I give us a B+ (Only because we traded away two future firsts 1977/1979.

Damn Cleveland, looking good. Way to make some power plays to get a stacked roster.
Here in Indiana, we're looking pretty good considering we've made no moves so far. We have a somewhat young team of players who are either just entering their primes or will soon. We have a post scorer in Haywood, a defender and shotblocker in Elmore Smith, and then two superb guards in Billy Knight and Paul Westphal. I worry about Knight's defense, but his rebounding might help more than his defense would since Smith/Haywood won't be beasts on the glass.
For the rest of the draft, it looks like all the impact players are gone. So, we need to get someone to start at either SF or PG and not f**k up, then get some depth. I haven't decided yet if I'll fill my roster with youth or older players.

I gave myself a D.
I feel I was hit with a few challenges and just didn't get the right amount of time needed to scout or understand the new FBB3 game. I also feel as the last pick, I missed the "superstar talent", but not just that, my other issue is sort of how my 2nd round pick played out.... I made a terrible selection...
The positive things: My team is fairly young (all between ages 24-26) I've got 4 guys but feel I pretty much have all of my starting lineup positions covered with guys that can do a good job at their position. Should be a good rebounding team
The negatives: I lack any scoring power Not too strong defensively (although I see other teams I feel will be worse)
I'll also say having the last pick is sometimes a good thing but in this league played to my disadvantage. After everyone's 1st round pick, most people got to see a site update the next day before the next round, which made scouting the players out much easier when you don't have to sort through who's available and who's not... I had to make my 2nd pick on the live draft chat and even though I asked if I could see a site update and immediately draft afterwards, I was only given that word document file that wasn't updated with guys picked being taken out... I would have made a different pick with my 2nd pick...
So when 3rd and 4th round came, I downloaded the save file and was able to make the selections in the game as they were made and then scout my guys out. I did a little better that way and I'm pleased with those picks. Overall, I'm happy with 3 of my 4 picks but I really dropped the ball on a very important pick by being unprepared and I gave myself and my team a D.

Loving my Draft so far! 'A'
Round 1 - Robert Parish (CPU before I took team but hard to argue with upside as a rookie; Super Star Big in the making) Career Stats: ROOKIE
Round 2 - George McInnis (late round pick but elite scorer inside and may be able to play some 3. should get steals and rebounds too) Career Stats: 24.8 PPG 12.8 RPG 3.7 APG 1.8 SPG 0.4 BPG
Round 3a - Swen Nater (big, rebounding and defending big to play center so I can move Parish to the 4 most likely) Career Stats: 13.0 PPG 13.1 RPG 1.2 APG 0.5 SPG 0.9 BPG
Round 3b - Mike Dunleavy (young, athletic guard who can play the 1 or 2, can handle ball, defend and is the best shooter in the game) Career Stats: ROOKIE
Round 4a - Kevin Porter (pass first PG to keep my team balanced, can defend, super quick, and knock down jumpers) Career Stats: 11.1 PPG 1.8 RPG 6.1 APG 1.1 SPG 0.1 BPG
Round 4b - Jo Jo White (high scoring combo guard who can defend decently and fill it up off the bench for the Sonics) Career Stats: 19.0 PPG 4.4 RPG 5.1 APG 0.6 SPG 0.1 BPG

No one forced you to make that second round selection right then and there. Sure you were pressured, no doubting that. But you could've said no, I need to scout out some more things. No one would fault you for making a decision for the better of your team.
