I didn't want to post anything here because I didn't want to create a circus around it, and those who needed to know about the trade and why I quit would know about the trade and why I quit. The rest of them could go on without knowing or caring what happened.
But I guess it's too late for that now.

Seems to be a recurring trend...GM ruins team or makes a retarded move, GM quits over shame, someone else is left to clean up that sess pool.
His trade better not go through. How you gonna try to tell ME I made a bad move with Blake Griffin and then you do this.

I know why he quit after this trade was questioned. It wasnt because he was shamed, and there are other reasons outside of this league and in other leagues. Honestly I think he enjoys these leagues quite a bit, and that is what he does, he enjoys them. When others take it serious and make attacks it ruins it. I hope he reconsiders, but it is doubtful.

He's frustrated imo and that's a reason he left.. I'm not sure how much the back lash of the deal had to do with it. I thought he did a good job in fa to get to this point.. apparently he didn't feel the same way

I agree Prez, and I hope he reconsiders, because he is one of the few guys I know that do the league and dont let things get to him. This trade being criticized was just bad timing for him.

I like him as a gm, he should have a second chance if he ever decides to come back.

Okay, I've layed in bed all day, hardly ate anything, and yawned at All-Star Saturday. Enough is enough.
I really let what happened in another league carry over into this one, and I apologize. Honestly, I don't think I'm going back to LBA, but I like it here, and I think I'll stay (if you guys let me, of course)....one one condition....
If the deal goes through. I really am getting a steal in this trade. Just think about it for a minute.
First of all, my team is extremely thin, especially at the big man positions. If I didn't do this deal, Don Ford would be getting 30 minutes a game.
Second of all, once my could years of being a 7 seed or so are over, I have picks to build on. I get my own stuff back, plus the Jazz pick in 90 (who knows what it'll be like then?) 5 First rounders in the next 3 years doesn't sound all that bad to me.
Third of all, there are a zillion good PGs in this league. I know, I know, Stockton is the "greatest" PG. But I've got Bo Lamar (A Capable PG) backing him up, and in my opinion it's pointless to have two great PGs, because one of them is going to have the brunt of the minutes. On the flip side, you need big man depth, because minutes are usually split almost evenly between the backup and starter.
Fourthly, I don't see how this hurts the league. The Jazz should have gotten Stockton in FA anyway, and they're still gonna be nothing more than a low playoff seed until they get a big man. The Nets have never been good, so that doesn't hurt anything.
Fifthly, I get rid of Dave Corzines nasty contract. He very well could collapse next year, and I could have a guy who's rated C C+ C- B B- D with a 5.5 mil contract on my hands.
Sixthly, if you knew what the Braves, Conquistadors, and Stars were offering, this deal would have looked a lot better. There's just not that much demand for a PG. Most of his value comes from his name.
So please, just let the deal go through and let me back in. I had poor judgement in letting the drama carry over into this league, but I did not exersize poor judgement in making this trade.
