Since we give participation points for gms that put depth charts in.. including bonues if 25 or more charts are posted. Should be start taking points away for gms who do not do it?
Reason i bring this up is during the season it seems like we start out high then start to fade towards the end with some gms even not posting during playoff time. IMO i think its a good insentive to take points away basically for not participating in something thats key to a teams success. What do you think?

I will refrain from voting just now. I have missed a ton of DC the last two seasons and honestly I should have been penalized for it. The only reason I would be against it is it would create some extra work for the PP guy. So if he is all for it, then my vote would be for 5 pp. That way it wouldn't be to big, but enough to sting if you miss a bunch.

Ya I never liked the three strikes rule other leagues use but I figure if we reward gms for them why not punish ones who don't even if its not a major one it might be enough to get more in

if u do that hten it shoudl be more imo. it would tkae u 10 missed DC's to lose 100 pts. which is close to nothign
by 10 missed dcs u sohuld have been fired over 3 times.
and yes , i tihnk ive been missing dc's lateley too..

Well, I think you would need to cut out the 3strike rule then, cause it would sorta be a double-penalty, which is overkill, IMO.
But I also don't completely agree with reducing PPs for lack of posting 'SAME' 10 times a year. I certainly have my own interests at heart, as I make maybe two changes all year, though.
The better idea would be to penalize GM who don't post DCs after making trades or FA signings, etc. Those are the one who are not 'participating', IMO, not ones that have already set a DC that won't change most of the year...

One of the things about this league that is great is the fact that their is no three strike rule. Ive come to really renjoy this league, I think it is the best FBB league around. As for me perosnally I get busy with work and college, and I post as much as I can. The fact that i dont post depth charts sometimes is not cause im not interested but just way too busy. So the fact that their is no three stricke rule, is just a smart decision. Surely there can be other ways to improve activity such as a finance system. All articles written get paid a certain amount more than usual, more training, more activity maybe.

Oaks.. the ppts are the leagues finance system used to upgrade players, perhaps you should take advantage.. and if your on the boards to check stuff how hard is it to put same for a depth chart
