Check them out. FA lists to Braves. Yes I do understand that Bobcats are over the HC. I will edit the roster once he decides which player to cut from his signings.

With these drafts and all these young players on teams, its making it look real scary a few years down the line with them all becoming the new faces of the league. Some teams look really good from a potential standpoint props to them for that.

I drafted Gene Shue, a 5 time all star, at #21. Cleveland drafted a 6 time all-star in Larry Costello at 18. WOW

We try to keep it realistic, but at the same time require GMs to help development as a coach would in real life via upgrades, position changes etc in order to maximize potential. As for the draft, I'm happy I bailed. I couldn't get in at 4 to snag Howell, and Wilkens didn't fall to 7 so I would have been screwed and had 3 SGs all of which would struggle at SF lol. Now I have a formidable 1-2 punch with Arizin and Baylor. And plenty of rebounding which is a past weakness.

Pipers are over too and didn't get under before the draft and thus lose their most valuable player...

Some teams look really good from a potential standpoint props to them for that. I know exactly what you're saying. I really do, but potential never won a title. There's always a "changing of the guard" it seems when we move from era to era. It was that way when the league began and we saw the players from the 80's come in. The same was true when we saw the 90s roll around. We all avoided players from the 2000 draft like the plague, but the rest of the 00s were coveted. THen there was the "new age" with guys like Irving and Noel. Now we're moving back to the 50s and 60s. Truth is, the grass is always greener. There's always that one extra special player in NEXT year's draft. We see talent come and go all the time. The funniest part is, there won't be a single dude from this year's draft that sticks with just one team. As soon as the potential hits "C" and they sign that first post-rookie contract, contract then GMs will line-up to ship them out. They move from pure potential (and very little impact on WINNING teams) to very good player, to elite, to 30 years old and no one wants to give more than an expiring because... wait for it... There's always that one extra special player in NEXT year's draft. Just my two thoughts, but yes, this draft is loaded.

Happy with our draft. Of course Wilt at the top is a no brainer. Also got two wings, Dick Garmaker and Alberto Almanza, for my D-league team. Not sure about Almanza, had him ranked higher than where I got him but I don't know who the hell he is. Like that he's starting with B- inside and A potential at 18. Had two extra firsts so I'm glad I rolled the dice on one of the picks.

Pretty happy with the draft that I didn't expect to take part in. I snagged Bailey Howell at #4, obviously a downgrade from the top 3, but still a good way to start a rebuild. Then at #19, I got Larry Costello, who doesn't look that great, but performed well in real life. Hopefully he'll be a D League success story.
