Holy crap, what a battle with the Nuggets in the first round. I took the first two games, the the Nuggets took the next three, including holding my guys to 64pts in game 4. But then big Brook Lopez came back and I won games 6 and 7. Joe Kile played really well in the first four games and gave us a chance, and with my full lineup, I was able to bring it home. Despite 38 pts in game 7 by Steph Curry, I was able to overcome a fourth quarter deficit and get the W.
Next up is the Nets. Should be a decent battle.

Oaks become first team with losing record to win AvN Championship! Ok, still a long way to go, but when you add a player like Brook, they aren't a 39-43 team anymore. Don't think they have the backcourt to get passed the Nets, though.
Too much Tobias for the Bucks. Major DC flaw with him over Felton in the playoffs. Team could be great, though, if Gilstrap takes the next step and they find a SG. My favorite part of that series is Kyle Frensko outplaying Greg Oden in game 7 to win the series for the Cavs. That's far from the worst 8-1 upset we've seen though. This was more similar to when the Cavs were the #1 and lost to the Braves who had traded for Magic mid-season. This wasn't ugly but very disappointing.
Looks like a repeat of last year's final now with the Braves and Bucks losing.

Yeah injuries definitely didn't help the Bucks.

Came through vs Braves without too much of a hassle. Now its the Cavs, who statistically I should beat. However, the Bullets/Bobcats matchup is gonna be tough for those two.

This was more similar to when the Cavs were the #1 and lost to the Braves who had traded for Magic mid-season. This wasn't ugly but very disappointing. Yeh, that sucked. I think I've been upset 3 times by a #8 seed while I've been #1, so I was due to upset someone as a #8. Winning this series makes trading for Westbrook worthwhile. It also makes getting the 20th pick instead of the 13th pick in the draft worthwhile. To recap: Lost by 13 in the opener. LBJ had 27/15/2/2. Gress had 15/2/16/1. Won by 13 against Tobias Harris and his epic PG skills since Gilstrap hurt himself. Gress/Westbrook combined for 57/8/10/3. Oden apparently went down as well. Won by 2 at home. Gress had 23/4/9/2. Lost by 8. Gress had 24/7/8/2. Lost by 25 in Oden's return. For some reason, Westbrook of all people only shot 6 shots in 40 minutes. I don't think that's ever happened, here or in real life. Noel went 8-31. That might be why. Won by 5 to stay alive in Gilstrap's return. Milwaukee only played 7 guys, so they must've had a few injuries. That's pretty ridiculous, actually. Noel had 26/15/4/12. Won by 9 in game 7 against what appears to be a healthy Bucks team. Fesenko outplayed Greg Oden, going 5-8 for 13/18/1/4. Oden shot 4-15. Well, we're healthy, and on to the Boston Celtics. I think we'll need a few more injuries on Boston's side to pull this one out, though. We went 1-3 against the C's in the regular season. If I were them, I would start Larrabee at Center to avoid foul trouble. Noel's leading everyone in the playoffs in FT attempts per game.

Philly gave me a little run for my money there! Anway onto the Cats. Winner should take home the gold.
