I would or anyone willing to do it. I think it is stupid to continue going on and on when a teams sits empty and talent wasted. How long has it been since we have had a full league?

Awhile now.. weve been full a few times only to have guys leave about the same time, with the new game out now its gonna be tough to find gms too (although the complexity of the new game might scare some off). really if its up to the commish to find gms alone its not gonna happen everyone has to find guys or its gonna get even tougher

I have asked guys, they aren't interested in a league like this. They come look at the message boards and the teams and decline.

Yeah, it kinda sucks, but GMing 2 teams is just a big no in my mind. I have no problem with switching teams so there's more appealing higher end teams for people to pick up, but with dudes doing two teams it becomes easier to subvert the rules, and you could manipulate FA pretty easily.
In any case, AvN is the only league I'm in right now, so I'm down to pound with whatever we do. I'll ride the horse to its' death. But when I have more time in the summer, I'd be intrigued to check the new game out. I'll still be here regardless though.

This looks like a no I would have to say from the vote in the poll to this point.

How many open teams do we have? Which teams are open?

Maybe we could set something up where GMs can trade for certain players on each of these teams for the purpose of 1) putting the vets in play so they aren't wasting away on these rebuilding teams and 2) make the rosters more attractive for future GMs. We will establish what players are available and then a committee to vote if a trade should be approved. The committee should probably change for every trade to avoid any conflict of interest. If a playoff team, say the Claws, is trading for Evan Turner then other teams in the ABA playoff race shouldn't be on the committee. Also only vets who are really good are available for trade. Nobody can trade for Elgin Baylor (as he makes the Knicks an attractive team for a future GM.) And nobody can trade for Robbie Hummel (though he could help some team, that's just a waste of time)
Here are the players that need to be moved on each team to clean up these rosters.
Kings B.J. Young Peja Samardziski (though nobody will want him) Also, we should just cut the last two years of Paul George's contract, as that deal probably shouldn't have been accepted in the first place.
Knicks Evan Turner David Stockton
Colonels Jimmer Jeremy Lin
I think Anthony Davis is too much of a game changer to move in a deal like this. And at 26 he's still young. A new GM would have the choice whether to keep him or trade him and rebuild.
