Dion Waiters decided to become a good player after he left Erie, joining the evil Armor and winning Finals MVP.
In Erie, we had yet another mediocre season. We've probably had the most wins between 38 and 44 of any D League team. Our only award went to Whitey Skoog, who made the All-Rookie 2nd Team. Yeehaw.
Peele averaged a double-double and Young again almost averaged 20/10. Hopefully that translates to the pro's. Skoog had an impressive rookie season and Walcott looked good behind him. Maybe one of them can be my backup PG in a year or two.

Pretty Meh. League is overrun by players who were claimed at some point or just never called up.

damn, the 2 guys I was banking on to have successful seasons had great stats but no awards. Wasted season IMO.... especially for Wali Jones who was ROY and all-2nd team last season.... I couldn't find a way to get David Holter more than 26 mpg apparently.
David Holter* C 26.0 mpg, 20.1 ppg, 7.8 npg, 1.4 apg, 0.8 spg, 0.6 bpg, 1.8 tpg, .496 FG%, .680 FT%,
Wali Jones* SG 31.7 mpg, 13.1 ppg, 4.6 rpg, 6.3 apg, 1.9 spg, 0.2 bpg, 3.2 tpg, .458 FG%, .808 FT%, .436 3P%

2nd Team All-League for Eichler.
After getting the "rookie bump" his first year he's had back-to-back 2nd team awards in his last two seasons.
For those counting, that's +8 to his potential and then another +12 that has been spent on scoring and defense.
He's a former #18 overall pick that would be out of the game next year but for his time in the D-League. I love those free upgrades. This is why the D-League matters. This is why I try to advocate for it over and over. +20 in free upgrades just to have the guy NOT be in the majors his first 3.5 years.
