I absolutely LOVE the idea of a fantasy draft 1970 style. That said, I kind of like AvN the way it is. I'll be in this league until you tell me I can't anymore.

Tao- its not random players at random times its actually the same as our save no fake guys and no randomness with classes like we use with avncaa just fyi Oh, I know, but they're presented all weird. Present day rosters, then dudes from three draft classes come in at once. And only the best come in. So you've got a ton of stars from different eras competing. I've got nothing against it, but it's just not my bag. I like it when players are in the correct time period, and I like it when an intimate knowledge of random roleplayers can really help you out. Just personal preference. I'd get killed in Global anyway..... |

I like the idea too! Honestly, I think the problem with a league like this is that once you get to the present day and have new rosters coming in, it's really hard to get a new GM to join and get interested. If you take over a team, you get a long history that you don't really understand. The combination of players doesn't hold any nostalgia. Most of what holds up old leagues at this point is a strong core of old GMs that still really like the league, but most dudes have moved on to Global and just kinda have this league in the back of their mind. I think we should get all of the ideas out there, see what WPW is willing to do, and have a vote on it. |

You know, with your history of titles and all. :-P I just have a crappy history of drama, Dr. J., drama, drama, and sucking hard. I'm ready to erase it! |

Im here for the long run as well, Simnba has switched over to FBB3 and boy is it a change of pace compared to the old version. I think the simmers have the biggest challenge though. If we do go to FBB3 Im all for it!1

Well I'm open to whatever the league as a whole wants to do. I just know that if we switch over it will be a lot faster paced as it has been said already. So once things get figured out we will do what the majority wants to do.

A few things ill add.. if u decide to move to fbb3 get the game.. helps big time. A cool thing aboht the game 2 is u can edit the league size so if u dont have 30 gms to start j can expand or retract.
cor me im not into a restart or moving tbe league myself the worm is crazy tk set up imo

Well what do you feel is the best to do.
1. Continue onward as is
2. Stop the d-league
3. Lower the cap
Just a few ideas I've seen thrown out there.

My last thought
Take the league to the new game, and start with a creation draft during the 1976 season. That season had 22 teams which makes it a league easier to fill, the game also will create the players and draft files for you from there on out. You can then also expand and edit the league how you see fit going forward.
