I would love to play more season in this league, one or five or whatever. However, if we are going to transition, the only way to end the league is abruptly. We couldn't do one more season. How could trades happen? Would teams that are rebuilding trade their vets to competing teams in good faith when they are rebuilding for nothing?

If we don't do another season and we just do the draft, it will take forever and fail. Guys are not going to stay interested with a draft that could possibly take two weeks with all our different schedules.

We need to keep everyone engaged otherwise the slightest lag could send someone walking thinking the league failed. As for trading, I don't see why it would affect trading because we still aren't going to give away players like its no big deal. We still value our players and I think everyone will still demand the same price tags. As a fringe team, ill probably see if I can swing a playoff upset in the next season. |
