I can't. I have to get another GM (who has the game) to tell me who wants to re-sign for what, then I have to send those in to the commish.
Seriously, I'm still at a loss as to how much of FBB3 works and I can't find out (except through beg, borrow, and steal methods) without the game. I'm excited for progress, but if it doesn't get better with more experience, FBB will effectively run out the "casual sim league fan."
BTW, I consider myself a "casual sim league fan" because (1) I don't own the game and (2) don't run a league. If it really takes the game to play, then over time the number of leagues will shrink dramatically.
Again, take all this with a grain of salt since I'm still learning FBB3 and have been at it for exactly 2 sims.

That is very interesting. Wonder if that is a commish decision or how the game works. Anyone know?

Just trying to figure things out. So if we have the game we will have access to the file too? Sounds as if they made this one very serious when it comes to GM involvement. I do not plan on buying it, so I will be hitting up guys with it.

Hey everybody- It's been great playing with all you, I just don't have any interest in learning the new game and going through this transition. Good luck and God bless.

Just my two cents.
I am in another league that is changing over to the FBB3. Without detailed rules in place and access to the save files. Plus the simmer doing a lot of work it is a difficult task. During the season a lot of things happen and you as the GM get emails, within the game. Such as players being unhappy, wishing to be traded, and players wishing to resign. That is just a few that I can think of off the top.
Also a lot of the lists, such as draft lists, Free agents etc, seem to not be sortable outside the game. Another issue has been viewing box scores.
Basiically, it is a lot more involved and without a test run, rules in place etc it will be a tough road.

For what it's worth... On the draft list posted by Prez (first post of this thread) and the document showing a list posted by Pistons (streetballa14), there appears to be a mix up with my team and the Knicks.... Prez has me with the final pick and streetballa14 has me with the 3rd overall pick.... It also looks like several aspects of the site make it difficult to distinguish between teams (myself and Knicks) as they both go on standings and other pages listed as "New York" when one should say "New York Knicks" and the other "New York Nets"..... Just a small suggestion to help.
Also, I just purchased the game about a week ago and when I learn more about it, I'm willing to help in any way. I'm still very confused about how this game works though.

I'll still take that 3rd pick if it works easier that way though

Frankly, if it turns out that I have to (1) buy a PC to run the software, and (2) buy the game just to gain access to information that I as the GM need to compete in the game, then I'm out. I know many others will be too. If sim leagues weren't dead before then this just might be the nail in the coffin for most FBB players. I mean, I have no idea, but I would assume there are many more people that want to play than want to buy the game. I guess it'll just be something for the die-hards. Too bad really if true. We'll see. I sure hope FBB3 doesn't force casual fans out. That would be a shame.

I think the majority of people in ABCA do NOT have the game and do just fine. While I hear it helps with scouting for your particular focal points (the 3 things Prez made us choose, which can change at any time btw), it isn't make or break. The rule of you can form a player to a system or a system to a player still applies. Both work, always will. Almost all of us sticking around for this have been together long enough that we will help each other out w/ resignings and hell maybe even scouting if it isn't a rival or fellow lotto pick, I would hope. But that may be me putting too much faith in all of you But not sure if anyone else noticed, we lost the Hawks today. We need to get things moving to keep interest as predicted.

Will we be doing the draft via a draft board? or Is it a live sim?
