I've tried to do tithe best I could to not do this but it needs to go ahead and happen. The league used to get Dcs in for each and every sim and now we struggle getting 8 Dcs it isn't worth it. I mean really it's extremely difficult to recruit new gms when the activity level is this low. So for the ones that have stuck around and tried to keep this going thank you, for the ones who didn't well that's your decision, but the time has come for this to end. Effective immediately the league is closed. For all the ones that posted I will sim the remainder of the season in the coming days so we can have that out there.
That isn't how I wanted to have this go but it is what it is.

Yeah I'm sorry to see this go but I just haven't had the motivation to be in sim leagues anymore.... I would've quit a couple weeks ago but I didn't want to hurt the league. Just some really crap stuff going on in my personal life and I want to move on to other things.
Thanks for trying to get this going, you put a lot of work in, but the spirit of AvN just isn't there anymore. GMs gone, and nobody sparking activity. Sucks to say goodbye to something that's been a part of my life for 5 years or so, but everything has their time. Totally not the fault of the commish though, he did everything he could.
I'll try to be around on AIM and maybe someday I'll even join Global. But for now I'm out of sim leagues.

Yeah...sadly the new fbb didn't even really rejuvenate the sim basketball world.

yeah, this is very unfortunate but probably the right thing to do. This will mark my retirement from sim leagues for good though! More than 10 years of this stuff and it's been fun meeting everyone I've met through this. Thanks also lonewolfwpw for trying to make this work and being patient, I thought 2nd season would make a turn for the better but it didn't. Good luck in the future guys!
