Went 4-3 with Gervin hurt during all but one of the games. Not really the sim I was hoping for, but not to bad considering a game who averages 30 a game wasn't playing. The highlight of the sim for me, is Doc and Dusko both had triple double in the same game. I haven't ever seen that before, even if it was against the lowly Spirits, it was still pretty impressive. abcabasketball.com/ABA%20vs%20NBA/boxes/97-5.html

Lost to the Pistons by 5, highlight was Cliff, 26/13 with 5 steals as a non option. Ainge had 32 pts and 9 assists, though 6 TOs, ouch. Was without Mickey and Drazen
Beat the Stars, C-Rob had 29/13 on 11/16 shooting 1 to,
Beat the Nets, Drazen 23/7, Cliff 21/14, Aingey 18 pts, 13 asissts, 6 steals bad shooting
Lost to the 76ers by 4, Ainge had 25 pts, 6 asists, 2 steals, 2 blocks
Lost to the Spurs by 1, Cliff 18/16, as a non-option still
Beat the Spurs by 5, Mikcey 28/10, Ainge 17 pts, 10 assits
Beat the Claws, Mickey with 29, Clif 19/14
Beat the Nets, Mickey 31, Ellis 18/9/6
Beat the Bucks, Walton had 21 rebounds
2-0 against non-playoff teams
4-3 against playoff teams, though two of the losses were by a combined 6 pts against the top teams from each conference
Cliff averaged 16.78 ppg (non-option), 12.5 rpg, 2.78 apg, 1 spg, 1.1 topg and 45.6% shooting.
Nope, 6'9 guys aren't meant to play PF.

Going to be an interesting finish to the season, both Pistons and Braves are neck and neck for the top spot in the NBA. Too bad Bird is out for another 30 days...going to miss that bastard for the rest of the season and a bit of the playoffs.

Might have found an ok DC this time. Had some pretty solid results. Still sitting in 8th but 7th and 6th are all close. Wish I could get more production out of Wilkins. He needs another year.

Gross Malone isn't as good as we thought he would be this year.

Now can you even imagine what he'd be capeable of at SF ? ;D But I got to eat crow on Ainge, he was definitely exceeding my expectations. Back to my Cougars. lost to the Americans ... and that just about tells the story of the sim. Beat some bad teams otherwise and lost ot good teams. way to go ...
