Ellis signed early and ate all the space I had under the soft cap, but i can't complain. The two most important things were re-signing Ellis and Drazen, and both chose to re-sign. Also picked up Charles Jones, who will provide a shot blocking precense off the bench.

Before I signed Derek Harper to the max, I was able to pick up Maurice Cheeks for 1 year!

Re-signed Hoppen, now I will have his Birds and he still has some growing to do.
Brought Furlow back for vet bench help.
Added Kupchak in the post in case I deal Dino's expiring to land another pieces this year.
Good so far, just looking for another swingman and I'll be pretty happy.
But DAYUM! Some big money being handed out this year with the elevated cap. And how is John Lucas the first $100 mil man? heh...

Kept Al Dutch which is essential for my weak frontcourt, but had to give up backup PG Marzorati due to salary reasons (who i should have resigned, but since he has about zero trade value as i found out all of last season I might as well get a cheaper backup).
Still some cap space remaining - close to a max offer - so let's see ...

Overpaid for PLM (Only a 2 year deal, no panic), but my problem last season was the fact that I did not have a real PG. Now with a real PG who's got a nasty outside shot, I have a load of depth at the 1-2-3 which i could use off the bench or to acquire big man help.

Well we added Bo Lamar. He is a very good pure point guard and we got him on a one year deal. We might look into a Lamar/Theus/Natt/Pippen/Shelton lineup next year.

Got Manute and Mark West, if they have good TCs then Im sitting pretty, if not, well at least they are 1 year deals..
